It has been quite awhile since I have dated our travel log so I will catch you up to date on our travels.
We have spent the last month in the Northwest part of Washington We drove the Southern Cascade route to get to our campsite at Fall City and saw beautiful scenery along the route. In addition to staying in Fall City, we also stayed at campgrounds in Blaine, La Conner, Silver Lake, Elma, and Ocean Shores.
We stopped to see Steve Christ in Seattle and Bill and Brenda Millhollin in Bothel. We visited the Space Needle in Seattle and toured the Boeing aircraft plant in Everett. We drove the North Cascade loop in northern Washington and visited Mount St. Helens in Southern Washington and saw the devastation of the earthquake and subsequent volcanic eruption. We spent time on the West Coast in the Olympic Peninsula and taking a day trip to the rainforest.
We took a week out of our travels to drive down to Salem, Orgeon to attend the Monaco RV rally. We are now on our way back to Oregon to have our motorhome serviced and spend time getting work done on our motorhome at the repair facility in Harrisburg. We will be leaving Oregon the last week in October to spend about three weeks in Pahrump, NV and Death Valley, California for the 49ers Rendezvous and then it will be on to Southern California to spend the winter.
