Here it is the first week of May and we are in Jonestown, Texas to visit our son, Mark and family in Cedar Park. I have not updated the Website since early December so I will catch you up to date on our travels since then.
We spent the rest of December and a first two weeks of January in the Palm Springs area at thousand trails and Western Horizons parks. We moved to Arizona and stayed at Salome for a week before moving to Quartzsite and boondocking along Plamosa road for 10 days. While in Quartzsite, we updated our battery compartment with the lifeline AGM batteries. Our other batteries could not hold a charge and we had to run the generator more than usual to be able to function without electrical hookups. Since adding the batteries we have been able to live off the solar panels to keep her batteries charged.
We spent two more weeks at Ehrinberg at Colorado River oasis before moving to Yuma Arizona four-month. While in Yuma, we had dental work done in Algadonis and replenished our supply of kahlua. We moved onto Mesa Arizona and boondocked at Phon D Sutton, which is on government land right along the river. We moved on to Casa Grande for 3 weeks at the Western Horizons Park. We left Casa Grande on April 9th and headed for Big Bend National Park in Texas. We stopped at Ft Davis and toured this Historic site and the nearby National observatory before continuing on to Big Bend. While at the park we took several day trips and a considerable amount of hiking into canyons within the park. We camped along the Rio Grande River and days were hot and the nights cool.
When we hike in the mountains the temperatures dropped quite a bit from the valley below. The vistas in the park our quite spectacular and the stop was well worth it.

We stopped at a Thousand Trails Park and Lake Minden for two weeks before moving onto Jonestown where we will be staying until after Mother's Day. Cody graduates this year and his graduation party is on the Saturday before Mother's Day.
Our youngest son Steve and his wife Lisa welcomed a new daughter into their family on April 7th. Lisa's mother had been staying with them and had to do home, so Carol flew San Antonio to say with them for a week and will get back tomorrow.
